The former CEO of SCANA, Kevin Marsh, has agreed to a 24-months prison sentence and a $5 million fine for his role in the fraudulent scheme to construct the VC Summer reactors in South Carolina. As he abused ratepayers for a decade and got rich off it, the judge should consider a much stiffer fine when he’s sentenced on October 7, 2021 He has previously pleaded guilty to felony fraud in the ripoff scheme. If no apology by Marsh to the people of South Carolina is forthcoming in court, the fine should automatically be doubled by the judge.
