It’s about time that somebody pushed SRS on exploring dry cask storage of spent fuel (vs reprocessing in the aged H-Canyon). They have been dragging their feet on that for many, many years.

The Board is an independent federal agency established by Congress to conduct an ongoing technical and scientific evaluation of activities undertaken by DOE to manage and dispose of SNF and high-level radioactive waste (HLW).”
