The plea hearing for SCE&G fraudster Stephen Byrne is still on for Tuesday, July 14 at 10:00 a.m. at the federal courthouse in Columbia, South Carolina. The time could be changed we are checking daily but think it will stay the same. His bond hearing is set for 11:00 a.m.

Mr. Byrne may be ratting on the other ring leaders: former SCANA CEO Kevin Marsh & former CFO Jimmy Addison. According to court documents – see them linked below – the lawyers who aided and abetted the scam are also subject to prosecution.
Please join, with signs if you so choose. We plan to stand in front of the court house from 9:00-9:45 a.m. and then go inside (virus situation allowing…). TV is not allowed inside. We will likely go back outside right after the hearing. There is only one entrance to the courthouse – 901 Richland St, Columbia, SC 29201 – so the felon, lawyers, reporters and others must enter and exit through the main entrance.
