Rocky Flats Disaster: Red Light for SRS Plutonium Bomb Plant

Public Forum on Tuesday, November 12, 7: 00 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. at the Aiken, SC, public library

Please attend this public forum which will include an update on what Congress is doing on the unauthorized, unfunded and unneeded Plutonium Bomb Plant proposed by DOE and contractors for SRS. Featured speakers will be Dr. LeRoy Moore, expert on plutonium contamination left at DOE’s closed Rocky Flats pit fabrication facility, and Patricia Mellen, lawyer trying to obtain sealed grand jury documents on the FBI’s raid of Rocky Flats in 1989. The speakers will be representing the Rocky Mountain Peace and Justice Center in Boulder, Colorado, located near the Rocky Flats site, and will warn that the dirty pit mission must not be located at SRS
