The South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation (LLR) has declined to open a formal disciplinary hearing against Westinghouse concerning information that design of the AP1000 reactors at the VC Summer site were not stamped by board-certified engineers. See LLR letter here: SC LLR board clears nuclear project re engineer stamps Sept 25 2019
In a compliant filed in October 19, 2017, information was provided about possible violation of SC law concerning lack of proper stamps for the now-terminated AP1000 reactor project at the VC Summer site in Fairfield County, South Carolina. Formal filing with LLR October 19 2017. Additions that were added to the initial filing are available on request.
The LLR letter offers thin explanation as to why it claims it has no jurisdiction over the AP1000 design drawings, which are not in and of themselves the actual construction or operation of the reactors.
