Some of the outstanding FOIA requests we have pending with SRS and DOE/NNSA on important programs and matters – list linked here:
— Documents, reports and photos on the SRS “Drone Scare 2016” – filed with SRS on November 16, 2016; (SRS has yet to provide any documentation or photos if this hyped up “scare” was real or not & if so if there was any real threat to SRS);
— Request for the CD-0 documents on expanding plutonium downblending capacity at SRS – filed DOE/NNSA on November 23, 2016; (downblending of 6 metric tons of plutonium, with a secret material called “stardust” is now taking place at SRS – will it be expanded now that MOX has failed?);
— Reports prepared for German entities on processing and dumping of German AVR & THTR reactor spent fuel at & documents on any transfer of funds to support Savannah River National Lab research – filed with SRS on November 29, 2016; (due to recent passage of nuclear waste law in Germany, this project is all but dead and should be officially terminated);
— MOX plant construction monthly and quarterly reports for part of Fiscal Year 2016 – filed with DOE/NNSA on April 18, 2016; for documents prepared by contractor CB&I AREVA MOX Services (believe it or not they are still on the job in spite of massive cost overruns and delays with teh bungled MOX project – must be a government job….!);.
— Annual report on the MOX project – legally required to be delivered by DOE to Congress by February 15 of each year (DOE revealed to us on May 10 that the report has not been prepared…is the FBI investigating?!).
