“Peace Through Atomic Strength” Я US!? Or….
Or is a better descriptor of what the DOE’s National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) is doing with it’s rushed plutonium-pit production program, for new, unneeded nuclear warheads, “Rearmament Я US?”

The more you say it the more real it gets? Or surreal, more accurately.
It’s looking like new pits would be used in thousands of new nuclear warheads, as the Draft Programmatic EIS (PEIS) considers production of perhaps 10,000 new warheads (205 pits per year for 50 years), at the Los Alamos national Lab in New Mexico and the Savannah River Site (SRS) in South Carolina.
